The board is pleased to provide an update:
After years of refusal by the previous freehold owners to improve security on the estate, Benhurst Court Ltd have been granted planning permission by Lambeth Council to install electronic gates at both entrances and renew the wall and perimeter fencing.
Plans have been drawn up for everyone to inspect at the forthcoming shareholders meeting. The design has been taken from the 1930's original windows some flats still retain. The cost will be borne from the reserve fund to which everyone has contributed over the years.
In the meantime, our architects/planning consultants are drawing up a specification which will form the basis for the work which should start in the summer months.
